This Ackee Tea Towel was created during the development of our collection and is now available as part of a limited sample sale. These tea towels feature the same joyful Ackee design as our main collection, but may differ slightly from our current production stock in fabric weight, colour intensity or other small production details.

They are completely functional and ready to be enjoyed; they’re simply part of the creative process that happens behind the scenes before a product reaches its final specification.

inspired by Jamaica’s national fruit, our Ackee print is one of Mayajoy’s original designs, bringing a little sunshine, colour and personality to the kitchen.

Rather than letting these beautiful samples remain tucked away in a cupboard, we’d much rather they became part of someone’s kitchen.

with only a small number available, once they’re gone, they won’t be made again in quite the same way.

This tea towel was produced during development of the Jamaican heritage collection. The samples vary slightly from our current production specification, so we’re offering them at a reduced price rather than letting them go to waste.

Is there anything wrong with the tea towel?
No. The tea towels are completely functional, beautiful and suitable for everyday use. The variation is minor and in in the fabric weight or colour, depending on the sample you receive.

What is different about the sample sale versions?
Our sample sale items may be made from a slightly lighter weight cotton or may differ in colour, ever so slightly from our current production tea towels.

Are they washable?
Yes. They are fully functional tea towels and can be washed and used as you would any other Mayajoy tea towel. Follow the care instructions found on the label.
